2 other important things for relationships are
1) truth/honesty always good to have (just dont be overly harsh when delivering them)
2) listening to your partner, sitting there nodding and going mhm isnt listening lol i learned that one the hard way lol.

In response to:Steps to being a grown up..

I have in the past, almost called my girl friend at the time by a pastt girlfriends name, managed to stop my self before i said the full name and change it to a different word. I sounded like a fool, blurting out random words but it got me out of what could have been a sticky situation.

One way around this i supose would be not to use names, and call your boyfriend/girlfriend 'honey, love, darling.

Been hapily married for six years now, so it doesnt happen anymore.

4 - Oh trust me, women don't like that one either. Unless they are comforting you just after you have split up with the ex and if you should get together with the comforter you'd better not mention the ex again buster!

And trust me. It does not matter how much you "learn" you can still not know enough to save something, or know enough to know when to walk.

In response to:Steps to being a grown up..

Hmmm now I know where I have been going wrong!

In response to:Waking up

Well, good luck with everything.
